Chinese team visits Red Crescent headquarters
LAHORE: A five-member Chinese delegation of Tianjin People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (TPAFFC) visited Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab Provincial Headquarters Lahore on Thursday.
Vice-President TPAFFC Chen Weiming led the delegation. A meeting was held with the Chinese delegation in the Committee Room chaired by Provincial Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab (PRC Punjab) Lt-Gen (R) Khalid Maqbool.
Chairman PRC Punjab briefed the delegation about humanitarian activities and major operations carried out by Pakistan Red Crescent, Punjab. On this occasion, Provincial Secretary Muhammad Zahid was also there.
The areas for mutual cooperation between Tianjin Red Cross and Pakistan Red Crescent, Punjab includes establishing youth clubs in different educational institution, First Aid training centre at Tevta and empowering women. President TPAFFC and Chairman PRC Punjab also exchanged souvenirs.
