672 graduates conferred degrees in PAF-KIET 16th convocation
Karachi: The 16th convocation ceremony of Pakistan Air Force – Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology was held at the Convention Centre, PAF Museum, PAF Base Faisal, Karachi.
A total of 672 graduates were conferred degrees in the disciplines of Management Sciences, Computer Sciences, Engineering and Media & Arts. The College of Management Sciences awarded 113 degrees in BBA and BSAF, 151 in MBA and 11 in MS-MS degree programs.
The College of Computing and Information Sciences awarded 119 degrees in BSCS, 55 in BS-ERP, 30 in MCS & MSc-ERP, 10 in MS-CS, 1 in PhD Computer Science.
32 degrees were awarded to BCA & BSTV & Film and 6 to MCA graduates of College of Media & Arts. Furthermore, the College of Engineering awarded 79 degrees to the graduates of BE Electrical, 25 to BE Electronics, 20 to BE Mechatronics, 15 to BE Avionics 3 to MS Electronics and 2 to PhD Electronics degree programs.
Honorable Govornor of Sindh Mr. Imran Ismail was the Chief Guest at the occasion and awarded Gold and Silver Medals to the distinguished students. The Chief Guest emphasized the importance of higher education and the significance of research and development for the progress of the country. Deputy Chief of The Air Staff (Training) Air Marshal Shahid Akhtar Alvi was the guest of honor.****
