SNGPL asked to review inflated bills
TIMERGARA: Taking action on a report about the inflated bills sent by the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) to the residents of Lower Dir, District Nazim Muhammad Rasool Khan on Wednesday asked the officials concerned to take notice of the situation forthwith.
In a letter addressed to in-charge SNGPL in Lower Dir, District Nazim Muhammad Rasool Khan asked the SNGPL officials to review the inflated bills, which were far beyond sources of income of the poor residents. The nazim directed the SNGPL officials to avoid such negligence in future so that any unrest leading to protest and law and order situation may not arise in the area. Copy of the letter was also forwarded to Malakand division commissioner, Lower Dir deputy commissioner and SNGPL General Manager, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saqib Arbab.
