MANSEHRA: The district administration arrested five unqualified chemists working on licences of others and sealed their medical stores here on Tuesday.
“Five unqualified chemists were arrested and their medical stores sealed during a crackdown launched by order of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government,” Khuramur Rehman Jadoon, the additional assistant commissioner, told reporters.
A joint team of health, district administration, police and other relevant departments raided the medical stores on Abbottabad Road and inner city and sealed five such stores which were being run by unqualified people.
Muhammad Hussain of Assad Medical Store, Akhtar Hussain of Gul Homeopathic Store, Muhammad Naeem of Saif Pharmacy, Muhammad Bilal of Taj Medical Store and Muhammad Yasir of Hazara Medical Store were arrested.
“Our crackdown against such medical stores which are being run on licences of others people would be continued in city and parts of the district,” said the official.
