Three impersonators booked for abducting youth

JHANG: Sadr police registered an FIR against three impersonators, as FIA personnel, for kidnapping a youth for ransom. According to the FIR, M Rafique of Sufi Mor Colony said that his son M Younas was playing in the street when three culprits came on a jeep and kidnapped his son. After an hour, he received a call from the kidnappers, who introduced themselves as the FIA personnel. “When I approached the FIA office about his son, he was informed that the FIA did not conduct any such raid.” The Sadr police registered an FIR against three unidentified culprits and started the investigation.

DHQ hospital MS for improving behaviour with patients: District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Medical Superintendent Dr M Aslam has directed the deputy medical superintendents general, medical emergency, trauma centre and heads of all the departments of the hospital to further improve patient service delivery and cleanliness condition. He was addressing a meeting here on Tuesday. The MS said that revamping of DHQ and THQ hospitals across the province would be expedited with the technical support of the Punjab Information Technology Board. He directed the hospital staff to provide the best available service in Urdu and Punjabi languages besides adopting a respectable and kind attitude with the patients and their attendants. He stressed upon the consultants and specialist doctors to continue monitoring the work of their subordinate staff and their behaviour with the public especially during evening and night shifts. He said that medicines’ shortage would soon be addressed.
