A significant meeting took place at National Accountability Bureau (NAB) headquarters which was chaired by director NAB and directors and executives of different organisations and schools.
RIS CEO Walid Mushtaq and others were also holding placard which said ‘Say No to Corruption.’ The august gathering showed the commitment of apex leadership of the country to check corruption throughout the country.
The meeting shed the light on the issues faced by country that are main causes of scourge of corruptions, its magnitude and dimensions and the real nature of challenges. The director introduced the nature of campaign launched by NAB nationwide and its aim.
Roots International Schools endorses social outreach, citizenship and ethical values to be incorporated in the curriculum. RIS has always condemned corruption and advocated the same teaching among the students and staff. It is an obligation for each individual to act for the benefit of society. Social responsibility is a duty every individual has to perform so as to maintain a balance between the economy and the ecosystems. Roots International Schools and NABs synergies for the eradication of corruption; a major evil in the society would result in the revolution and awareness in today’s potential youth and Pakistan’s future generation’s mindset.
NAB Director Aalia Rasheed said that corruption is one of the major challenges that need to be sort out and resolved on the national level. Corruption is the grass-root of all the economic issues a country faces. Therefore it is important to break the chain of corruption.
RIS CEO Walid Mushtaq said that such awareness campaigns are very crucial and highly recommended for today’s youth as they can play a very significant role in eradicating corruption. Youth is the future of Pakistan and they need to be involved on such forums to raise awareness and make them responsible citizens.
Aalia Rasheed said that she is excited to see the interest of youth and Mr. Walid’s institute’s interest in NAB’s campaign against corruptions. And she is hopeful that the country is in good hands now.
