BAHAWALPUR: Two swine flu patients have been shifted to the swine flu isolation wards at Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH).
According to BVH focal person for swine flu Dr M Aslam, patients M Javed, 46, and his son Usman, 22, were brought to the hospital on Saturday. After the laboratory tests, the swine flu virus was confirmed in them.
PEF to distribute 9.2m books to partner schools: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will distribute 9.2 million books to its partner schools for the new academic session 2019-20.
The PEF spokesperson said that 23 out of 36 districts had been covered where the books were distributed. The books distribution activity will conclude on February 26. The remaining cities of books distribution are Alipur, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Haroonabad, Hasilpur, Jampur, Khanewal, Kot Addu, Laiquat Pur, Layyah, Lodhran, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Rahimyar Khan, Sahiwal, Shujaabad, Taunsa Sharif and Vehari, he added.
