LWMC deducts salaries of absent workers

LAHORE: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has started deducting salaries of absent sanitary workers.
Officials said the decision was taken on the orders of Managing Director Khalid Nazir who after joining had stated clearly that salaries would be deducted of all those who were not present in the field.
Salaries of absent workers have been deducted from Feb 1 to 16 worth more than 10 million rupees. The MD has directed the management to also deduct salaries of absent workers from the month of October, November, December and January on which GM HR compliance and deducted salaries of absent workers which worth more than 80 million rupees.
