Seven illegal housing colonies sealed

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) sealed seven illegal housing colonies in various parts of the district.
The FDA spokesman said on Saturday that under Local Government Ordinance 2001 and Development of Citizens Act 1976, all housing scheme developers were bound to seek permission from the FDA before developing any residential scheme or starting constructions. The sealed colonies included Ghulam Muhammadabad No 2, Chak 6-JB, Chak 100-JB, Chak 19-JB and Chak 117. Taking notice against illegal housing colonies, the FDA Town Planning Directorate teams headed by Deputy Director Town Planning Arshad Iqbal sealed the housing colonies
