Labourer dies

JHANG: A labourer died while two others sustained injuries in a soil collapse at the project site of Trimun Barrage/Headworks, on Saturday.
Amjad, Ghulam Murtaza and Ishaq were digging soil when suddenly they came under the debris. As a result, Amjad died on the spot while two others sustained injuries.
Later, District Emergency Officer Ali Hasnain rushed to the spot and supervised the rescue operation of the workers.
In the meantime, senior officials of the district administration also reached the site and started probe into the incident.
