Major reshuffle in NA Secretariat’s bureaucracy
ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar on Friday approved the major reshuffle in the hierarchy of the National Assembly Secretariat.
According to notifications of major reshuffle in the bureaucracy of the National Assembly secretariat, the National Assembly secretariat get a new Director General (Public Relations) as Syed Shamoon Hashmi, joint Secretary (International Relations) will also supervise the work of PR wing.
Shamoon Hashmi, son of renowned journalist Late Ashraf Hashmi and recipient of Presidential Award “Aisar” for his services as a broadcaster on the transmission of earthquake of 2005. Qamar Sohail Lodhi, currently working a Special Secretary, National Assembly Secretariat posted as Special Secretary Public Accounts Committee and Parliamentary Committees.
He will continue to report Secretary, National Assembly Secretariat and will deal with the special tasks assigned to him by the Speaker National Assembly and Secretary time to rime and in addition he will also sit in the National Assembly Hall and when required by the Speaker.
Iftikhar Rahim, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts, presently working a Joint Secretary (BS-20) in the National Assembly Secretariat on deputation basis is repatriated to the Establishment Division with immediate effect.
Shehryar Khan, presently working a Staff Officer in BS-18 posted as a Secretary to Speaker National Assembly, on his own pay and scale till further orders. Iftikhar Ahmad working as a joint Secretary (ESTT/Admn) posted as a Joint Secretary (Committees).
Muhammad Maqbool Khan, working a as a Director General Library & Research in the national Assembly Secretariat on deputation basis, is repatriated to the Pakistan Institute for parliamentary Services, Islamabad.
M. Latif Qureshi working as a Joint Secretary (litigation) assigned to look after the work of the Joint Secretary (Establishment).
Sher Dil Khan working as a Director General (finance) in Bs-20 was assigned to hold additional charge of post of Joint Secretary (Admn) in addition to his duties for three months.
Ms Razia Sultan working as a Director (Research/committees) in BS-19 assigned to look after work of DG (L&R) in her own pay and scale. Muhammad Ishaque section officer (E-11) in BS-17 posted as a Section Officer (PAC-Imp).
Tanveer Ahmad Awan. Section officer (PAC-Imp) in BS-17 has been posted as a Section Officer (E-11) Abdul Jalil working as Accounts Officer in BS-18 has been posted DDO.
Khalil Ahmed working as a Hassan Mehdi working as a Superintendent in BS-17 DDO has been posted as In-charge (Transport Cell). Hassan Mehid working as a Transport Officer in BS-18 posted as In-charge Admn-11 Branch.
Tayyab Rafiq working as a Superintendent in BS-16 in MNA Service Center has been posted as a Superintendent (Transport). Uzair Shafiq working as a Junior Transport officer in BS-16 in Transport Cell has been posted as Assistant PR Wing.
