Millennial Olympiad 2019 starts off

Islamabad : Millennium Flagship Campus, I-9/3, hosted the mega sports event of the twin cities ‘The Millennial Olympiad XIX’ last day says a press release. 131 official & 60 private teams from all the prestigious schools were brought together; historic winners to defend their existing titles while all other participating teams were wired to take it away.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the chief guest Ijaz Ahmed, former test cricketer, captain of Pakistan National Cricket Team and Muneeze Muzaffar, principal Millennium Campus, I-9/3. While addressing she pronounced the aim of ‘The Millennial Olympiad 2019’ is to inspire youth to help shape the world based on justice, solidarity, liberty, dignity, harmony and prosperity for all, declaring Olympiad is a platform that allows young Millennials to prove their mettle within various domains of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. She also quoted the vision of Chief Executive of Millennium Education Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq TI who always stresses upon the significance of youth for their ideas, initiative and implementations & his support for the personal and professional development of the leaders of tomorrow.

Ijaz Ahmed, the honorable chief guest appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged the youth of Pakistan to become the agents of change through engagement in student initiatives on national and international forums.

The event started off with hundreds of teams soaring with excitement as 131 official & 60 private teams from all over the twin cities sprang with electrifying enthusiasm. Beacon House, The City School, Froebels, Westminster, Head Start, OGS, ICAS, Beacon House Newlands, TSS, Iqra School - Abbotabad, Millennium Khyber Campus Peshawar, The Millennium Universal College (TMUC) and a large number of Roots Millennium Schools campuses including the Hill View Campus Mirpur, One World Campus E-11/4, Wahid Campus, F-10/2, Piccadilly Campus, Waterloo Campus, Green Park Campus, Oxbridge Campus and Emmar Campus, all gave each other a run for their titles. All teams were seen striking for victory, clad in a stunning ardor.

The ceremony also included speech by the Olympiad President, who enthusiastically explained the three-day event, he also applauded his team, executive council, directorate & host team for organizing the event in shortest time.

There was exhilaration, jubilation, pressure & running around in the end, The Millennial Olympiad 2019 marked the year to be remembered as one full of nail-biting competitions and exemplary spirits.
