KARACHI: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has signed an agreement with Mobilink to provide cash management solutions to its customers in urban and rural parts of the country, a statement issued on Friday said.
Under the ambit of this arrangement, the NBP customers will have the opportunity to conduct financial transactions, including intra and inter-bank funds transfer payments at their convenience by visiting their nearest Mobicash retailers and franchises, it said.
“Partnering with the NBP for mobile financial service is another step towards enhancing our outreach and providing convenience to the customers,” Syed Iqbal Ashraf, president of the NBP, said.
“This agreement also enables us to bridge the financial gap in the under-banked areas of Pakistan,” he added.
