The University of Karachi’s Board of Advance Studies and Research (BASR) has awarded 19 PhD and four MPhil degrees in various disciplines, announced KU Registrar Professor Dr Mozzam Ali Khan.
The MPhil degrees were awarded to Suneeta (Special Education), Iftikhar Hussain (Applied Economics (AERC), Jawad Ahmed (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), Madeeha Khan (Pharmaceutics).
The PhD degrees were awarded to Imteaz Husain (Mathematical Sciences), Rao Atif (Environmental Studies), Dr. Farida Qadir (MBBS) (Pharmacology (BMSI)), Sadia Ghosia Baig (Pharmacology), Muhammad Akram Sharif (Public Administration), Muhammad Imran Fakhri (Chemistry (HEJ)), Sabahat Ambreen (Chemistry), Umar Hayat Asim (Education), Sana Eijaz (Molecular Medicine), Sana Gul (Chemistry (HEJ)), Dr Muhammad Kashif (MBBS)) (Pharmacology), Hina Ishtiaq (Molecular Medicine), Raheela Sharmeen (Zoology), Ahmad Raza (Islamic Learning), M.
