PESHAWAR: The Jamiat Ahle Hadees (JAH), Peshawar chapter, Tuesday announced support to the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) in the forthcoming local government elections. The decision was announced by the provincial chief of the JAH, Maqsood Ahmad Salfi during a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club. JI district Peshawar chief Sabir Hussain Awan was also present on the occasion. Maqsood Ahmad said that JAH supporters would campaign and vote for the JI candidates in the polls.
