Three people died and four fell ill after consuming poisonous liquor in Baldia Town on Friday.
According to the Ittehad Town police, the victims and those who fell ill bought liquor from a shop situated near Mohajir Camp in Baldia Town no 3.
The people were taken to the CHK where three passed away. Four more are under treatment and their condition is said to be serious. The deceased were identified as 30-year-old Ashraf, 35-year-old Shafiq and an unidentified man who appeared to be in his 30s.
Ittehad Town SHO told The News that the victims bought liquor illegally from someone near Mohajir Camp.
Accidents, body found
Siraj, 25, was killed and his elder brother Basheer received injuries, when their truck collided with a dumper near Northern Bypass Morr at Lyari Taiser Town.
Asif Qasim, 70, was killed while he was crossing the rail track, near Awami Markaz in Baloch Colony. A charred body, said to be at least six days old, of an unidentified man was found from Kaneez Fatima graveyard in Surjani Town.
