Akhtar stars in PAF victories over WAPDA, KP

KARACHI: Mohammad Akhtar scored heavily on the first day of 14th National Men Netball championship and helped Pakistan Air Force (PAF) record two convincing victories at PSB Sports Complex in Islamabad on Thursday.
Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) is organising the tournament.
In the first match, PAF overpowered WAPDA by 34-24 — thanks to Akhtar, who alone scored 26 goals.
In another match, PAF bulldozed KP by 49-2. Akhtar almost single-handedly led his team to the big win by scoring 40 goals.
Meanwhile, Sindh defeated FATA by 44-20. Fasial Rehman played well for the victors, scoring 39 goals.
WAPDA beat HEC 28-17. Yawar scored 16 goals for WAPDA. Army thrashed Sindh 45-24. HEC defeated Punjab 28-18.
