PESHAWAR: The Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) on Saturday observed the “Down with America Day” and staged a protest rally against the atrocities being committed against Muslims.
The protestors led by general secretary of the organisation Mudassir Haider, general secretary Peshawar division Mubashir Ali, secretary information Ali Jan Turi, gathered outside the Peshawar Press Club.
They were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against America and Israel. The protesters were also raising slogans against the two countries.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that America and Israel were responsible for the troublesome situation being faced by the Muslim countries. They also accused America and Israel of supporting and financing terrorists and their networks operating in various countries.
