ISLAMABAD: Acting ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Jassim Muhammad Al-Khalidi has expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash of Friday last in Naltar valley Gilgit-Baltistan and condoled with the bereaved families and those who lost their love ones in the unfortunate incident.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Arabian Embassy here Wednesday, the acting ambassador said: “My heart goes out to the family members of the deceased Ambassador of the Philippines Domingo D Lucenario Jr, Ambassador of Norway Leif Larsen and the spouses of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors.”
Jassim Al-Khalidi also extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of two brave pilots and crew member of the Pakistan Army who tried their level best to help fellow passengers for rescue in the most difficult conditions and sacrificed their lives in the process. The envoy prayed to the Almighty Allah for the early recovery of all those who injured in the crash. Al-Khalidi has visited the embassies of the four countries one after other.
