PESHAWAR: The Post Graduate Medical Institute Teaching Staff Association Thursday asked the provincial government to address the reservations of the employees of the Health Department over the recently enacted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Institution Reforms Act.
Speaking at a press conference, the office-bearer of the association Musa Kalim said that the health minister and secretary health had assured them to include the doctors and other stakeholders in the process of amending or making new rules and regulations for the department.
He said that the government didn’t include the doctors, Health Department employees and other stakeholders in the process of framing the new act.Musa Kalim said the doctors had reservations over the act and asked the government to redress them and include the doctors and other stakeholders in the process of making new laws in future to frame such laws that benefit both the patients and employees of the Health Department.
