Partly cloudy today

Hot and dry and partly cloudy weather is expected in the provincial metropolis today (Thursday) with the temperature on and around 40 degrees.
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. However, a shallow westerly wave is affecting most western parts of the country and is expected to affect other parts of the country during the weekend.
While the maximum temperature in the country was 47 at Dadu, the city was not too far behind with 43 degrees Celsius while the minimum too was a rather unforgiving 26. Parachinar 24mm and Dir 06mm were the only places where rain was recorded in the country.
In the next 24 hours, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
