LAHORE
Punjab University (PU) Examinations Department has declared the results of MA Economics Part-I & II Supplementary Examinations 2014 and MA English Part-II Supplementary Examination 2014.

MoU: Punjab University and University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Warsaw, Republic of Poland, Thursday signed an MoU to develop academic exchange and cooperation in teaching and research.
PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran, University of Social Sciences and Humanities Angnieszka Kuszewska, Director External Linkages Dr Maria Maldonado, Dean Faculty of Arts and Humanities Prof Dr Massarrat Abid, Chairman Department of History Prof Dr Iqbal Chawla and Director Planning & Development Cell Engr Tariq Majid Qureshi were present. The participants discussed various areas of mutual interest and stressed the need to enhance academic relations between the two institutions.
Symposium: The Humanities Symposia Series 2014-15 at Forman Christian College University have concluded with a symposium on “Religious Studies and Humanities: Values and Systems”.
According to a press release, the symposium, held in collaboration with the British Council, was organised by the Departments of Religious Studies and English at FCC.
MPA Ramesh Singh Arora was the chief guest which comprised of three sessions on Peaceful Coexistence: Mysticism/Sufism, Socio-Moral Perspectives, and Minorities’ Discourses on Religion and Secularism in literatures in English.
Among speakers were Dr Shahzad Qaiser; Suheyl Umar, Qamar Iqbal Sufi; Pamment Chair from Kinnaird College; Dr Salman Siddiqui from University of Leeds; Junaid Ahmad from LUMS; Chairperson of Department of Philosophy at FCCU Dr Ghazala Irfan; Assistant Professor at Department of Social Sciences, Lahore School of Economics Dr Shireen Rahim; and Assistant Professor at the School of Governance and Society at UMT Raza Naeem.
