New art gallery

Zulfi’s Art Gallery on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road, Johar Town, is a new, nice, impressive and laudable addition to the art scene of Lahore, the cultural capital of Pakistan.
The new gallery has been established by well-known professional creative artist Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi who is also working as Deputy Director in the Lahore Arts Council. The new art gallery has been launched by the artist with display of his own paintings in the presence of a number of artists and art lovers including Saeed Akhtar, Bushra Aitzaz Ahsan and Azhar Jaffery. Zulfi’s 33 paintings all done on canvass in oil and are visibly dominated by lush green trees and clouds. The solo exhibition in the new art gallery is being visited by number of artists, art students and art lovers in pretty good number every day. Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi on being contacted said that the exhibition of his own paintings is likely to continue at least for one month.
He said the new art gallery has been established with the solo objective of promotion of the art and the artists through holding solo and group shows from time to time. All medium and large sized paintings are available in the event while half a dozen of these paintings have been already purchased by the art lovers, he added.
