CM meets parents of rape victim

Parents and relatives of the 12-year-old rape victim girl Saturday called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The CM promised immediate justice to the aggrieved family at all costs and ordered police officials to arrest the accused involved in the incident within 48 hours. He said an immediate action should be taken against the Inspector who crated hurdles in provision of justice to them.
Expressing deep shock over heartrending incident, the CM promised the father of the girl that the accused would not escape punishment.
The CM said he will personally review the progress of the case regularly.
MNA Pervaiz Malik, the Inspector General Police Punjab, the CCPO Lahore, the DIG Operations and relevant police officials were also present on the occasion.
