Controversial law

This refers to the editorial, ‘Controversial law’ (April 20). Someone once posted some controversial text purporting to be written by me on a blog on which I was a writer. I immediately stopped writing on that blog after the blog operator said it would take a long time to trace and punish the person who had tried to get me into trouble.
It is just like someone sending a threatening letter supposedly written by me to many people. How would such a criminal be traced? He would be laughing all the time while I would be trying to prove my innocence. Have the people who drafted the controversial cyber crime law taken this into consideration? I doubt it.
