The annual convocation of Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) will be held on Monday (today) wherein acting Punjab Governor Rana Muhammad Iqbal would be the chief guest.
The event would also be attended by advisor to Chief Minister for Health Khawaja Salman Rafique, Secretary Health, Punjab, Jawad Rafique Malik, Chairman Board of Management PGMI Khawaja Zia-ud-Din, deans and principals of medical colleges and others.
Talking to the media, Principal, PGMI, Prof Anjum Habib Vohra said the PGMI set excellent standard of medical research and its students believed in serving ailing humanity as their objective of life. He said PGMI became a reputed institution not only in Punjab but students from all the neighbouring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh feel proud to get admission here.
He said in accordance with the health vision of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, PGMI along with its faculty and students were striving for the best standard of health care delivery in the country.
