Qualified teachers

The Punjab government’s decision to provide standard and advanced education in government schools is laudable. Those parents who cannot afford private schools can rest happy with this step.
But merely developing the already existing schools on modern footings is not sufficient for productive results. The entire system of recruitment and allocation of government teachers is very poor and unsatisfactory. Not only Punjab but all provinces should take measures to recruit skilful teachers. This job should not be left to matriculate or FA/BA pass teachers. We earnestly need highly educated and experienced experts.
