Four wardens were issued show-cause notices on using substandard number-plates for which an inquiry had been initiated against them on Saturday.
The car no LEM-6488 of Warden Amjad, Traffic Sector, Khayaban-e-Jinnah, car no. LZH-5560 of Warden Shaheen Hayat of Traffic Police Driving School, motorcycle no. LEW-8050 of Warden Sarwar appointed at Cantt Sector and motorcycle no. GAR-6133 of Warden Zulfiqar appointed at Old Airport Square were impounded and an inquiry was initiated against them. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Traffic Police Officer (CTO) Tayyab Hafiz Cheema said that strict action would be taken against the violators without any discrimination.
