President Mamnoon Hussain called for reviewing the curriculum of all universities as he met the vice chancellors of different universities at the State Guest House on Friday.
“The revised curriculum must relate education to the necessities of society and modern life,” he told the meeting attended by the vice chancellors of 20 universities.
The president invited innovative ideas from the universities for improving the tax network in the country.
“The education in our schools, colleges and universities should inculcate self-realisation in the students so that they could not only work for the progress and prosperity of the country but also avoid corrupt practices.”
Mamnoon said the graduates and postgraduates in the country were not properly trained and they had to suffer a lot in practical life.
