KARACHI: Pakistan’s first homemade full-fledge animated movie 3 Bahadur is all set to be released in May 2015.
The animated movie is the joint work of Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy Films, Waadi Animations and Safeguard. It is directed by the Oscar wining Pakistani Director Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, who has promised the film will revolutionize the children entertainment industry in Pakistan and hopes more projects will follow suit.
The texture of the film is that of a ‘basti’ similar to small villages of Pakistan and the story revolves around three 11-year old children Amna, Saadi and Kamil, who fight against the evil with their super powers to create a difference in the world. The project is likely to be an inspiration for animators and will open up portals for more animated movies in the Pakistani film industry.
