FAISALABAD: The oath-taking ceremony of newly-elected office-bearers of the Academic Staff Association, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, will be held at the New Senate Hall of the varsity on April 9 (today).
UAF Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan will administer the oath from the newly-elected body. According to a notification issued by Election Commissioner of the ASA Prof Dr Muhammad Younas, Assistant Prof/Deputy Director Endowment Fund Secretariat Amir Saeed was elected as president unopposed while Assistant Prof Muhammad Athar Nadeem was elected as VP and Assistant Prof Dr Sibtain Ahmad and Dr Fakharuddin were elected as VPs for UAF Toba Tek Singh and Burewala-Vehari sub-campuses respectively. Similarly, Assistant Prof Dr Khurram Zia was elected as secretary, lecturer Iqra Shagufta as joint secretary and Assistant Prof Dr Allah Rakha as treasure.
