Call to protect workers’ rights

Lahore: The working class has demanded all the political parties include in their manifestos the abolition of the outdated feudal and monopolistic capitalist system . They also demanded inclusion of equality, social justice and social protection for the people of the country in the manifestos. They urged the political parties to include elimination of poverty, unemployment in their manifestos. They called for fundamental rights of the workers. The demands were made on Tuesday during a big meeting of All Pakistan Workers Confederation held at Bakhtiar Labour Hall. It was participated by the representatives and workers of the trade unions affiliated with the confederation all over the country.
