This refers to the news report, ‘Militants kill 147 students in Kenya university attack’ (April 3). According to witnesses and media reports, the militants first separated Christians from the crowd and then shot them. This brutality is no different from the Peshawar incident when a school was attacked and we lost many innocent lives. In both cases students were the victims.
It is unfortunate that militants have been using religion for their malicious and wicked intentions. How can they achieve religious glory by killing people? They should know that no religious milestone can ever be achieved through violence. It will only fan hatred and defame our religion that teaches peace. Our government should send a message of support to Kenya that in their moment of grief Pakistan is with them.
