The Sindh caretaker minister for information, Jameel Yousuf, has vowed that issues regarding prisoners’ children would be resolved on a priority basis.
He said this while distributing Eid gifts among the children at the Central Prison. Yousuf asked officials to take steps for the provision of basic education to the children. He also said that there was a dire need of trees in jails to create a greener environment.
Justice Helpline President Nadeem Shaikh, Sindh Advocate Secretary Law Shariq Ahmed, DIG Prisons Kazi Nazeer Ahmed, Advocate Kazi Khalid Ali and others were also present on the occasion.
