Bilawal Bhutto due in KP on 28th

PESHAWAR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will arrive on a four-day visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 28 to mobilise party workers and senior activists for making preparations for the next general election.

Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday, PPP provincial Secretary Information Senator Rubina Khalid said that Bilawal Bhutto would hold meetings with party office-bearers, MPAs, MNAs and visit different districts to attend Iftar dinners.

MPA Nighat Orakzai and Deputy Secretary Information Gohar Khan Inqilabi were also present on the occasion.

Rubina said that during his visit Bilawal would go to the residence of PPP provincial president Mohammad Humayun Khan and also attend an Iftar dinner at residence of former speaker Kiramatullah Khan Chagharmatti.She said on May 29, the PPP chief would address lawyers at Peshawar High Court and then visit Mardan to hold meetings with party office-bearers there. She said that Bilawal would also attend the Iftar dinner of former provincial president Senator Khanzada Khan.

Rubina Khalid further said that on May 30 the PPP chairman would visit Peshawar Press Club at 3pm. She said that Bilawal would also attend Iftar dinner at residence of former provincial President Syed Zahir Ali Shah in Peshawar.

About the merger of the Fata with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rubina Khalid said that mainstreaming the tribal areas was the dream of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
