The deplorable condition of roads in major parts of Sindh calls for the immediate attention of the authorities. The road, which stretches through Khairpur and Naushahro Feroze districts, was constructed to connect remote villages to Mehrabpur in Naushahro Feroze. The work was started in 2008, and it is unfortunate that it hasn’t been completed to date.
Construction material is strewn across the road, with some steel plates posing a great danger to commuters. Many accidents have occurred on the road because of these issues. The authorities concerned should take effective action to ensure that work on the road is completed in a timely manner.
