Health Ministry launches e-office system
Islamabad : The Ministry of Health Wednesday launched its E-office initiative with the minister for health sending the first e-file though custom-built software.
“Information Technology is indeed a panacea for all ills of governance. Keeping this slogan in mind, the Vision 2025 of this government envisages shifting of all governmental offices into E-offices. Today, we at the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with NITB, have launched the E-office system, which will not only ensure efficiency and transparency but also maintainability of secrecy and easy access to record,” Saira Afzal stated on the occasion. She asked the ministry's higher officers to keep it going with full vigor.
Secretary Health expressed his ambition to make this project successful and expeditious. He appreciated the efforts of NITB team as well as ministry's officials under the supervision of Additional Secretary for making this possible in such a short span of time.
