RDA meeting

Rawalpindi: A meeting to review Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE), Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) held on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by Rana Akbar Hayat, director general (DG), RDA. Director MP&TE, director LU&BC, director, Architecture and others attended the meeting. Director MP&TE has discussed and given a detailed presentation about MP&TE Directorate work. DG directed to provide relief to general public.

He said they should know about building and zoning regulations and illegal housing schemes. He directed to upload details of illegal private and cooperative housing societies of Rawalpindi that come under RDA at official website. He directed all employees to work honestly and diligently to redress grievances of common people.

He said an honest employee even like ‘Naib Qasid’ is important for me. He directed MP&TE to take strict action against illegal/constructions and commercial activities without any fear and favour.
