Two minors die after falling from roof
GUJRANWALA: Two minors died and one injured in different incidents here on Monday. Reportedly, four-year-old Sadia of Asad Colony and three-year-old Madiha of Kamoke died after falling from the roof. Meanwhile, 12-year-old Hafsa received burn injuries due to boiling milk at her home. She was shifted to Lahore in critical condition.
Head constable held: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Monday arrested a head constable for misusing his powers and corruption allegations. A citizen Aalia gave an application to the ACE that her sister was murdered by accused M Arshad and lady doctor Shabnam Saqib handed over the dead body samples to head constable Areeb Alam for forensic report. Alam, in connivance with the accused person, did not send the samples to the forensic lab which were later forwarded by the lady doctor. The applicant alleged that accused head constable had tried to destroy the murder evidences. After inquiry, allegations leveled against the said accused were proved and the ACE team arrested him.
