Five people, including two minor boys, were killed in three separate road accidents on Sunday.
Khurram, 35, his wife, Javeria, and their three-year-old daughter, Kareena, were killed when a recklessly driven vehicle rammed into their motorcycle near the Gharibabad Underpass in Sharifabad.
After the incident, a mob blocked one of the area’s main roads until the police intervened. Later, the bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
Another family on a motorcycle was hit by a speeding tanker in the Manghopir area, injuring Izzat Khan, 30, and his wife, Peshawri, while their one-year-old son, Salman, died on the spot.
The body and the injured were shifted to the ASH.
In Baldia Town, an unidentified four-year-old boy was run over by a speeding vehicle while playing outside his house near Nawab Colony. He was taken to hospital but his family members took his body away without legal formalities.
