Two dead in Malakwal accidents

MALAKWAL: Two people were killed in different road accidents here on Sunday. Muhammad Iqbal was on his way when a speeding tractor-trolley hit him at Mauza Hailaan. As a result, Iqbal died on the spot. In the second incident, Mumtaz Ahmed, his wife Asmat Bibi and four-year-old son Ali were on their way to Phalia on a motorcycle when a speeding van coming from behind hit them near Laidhar. As a result, Asmat Bibi died on the spot while Mumtaz and Ali sustained injuries. The bodies and injured persons were rushed to the THQ Hospital, Phalia.
