The prime minister’s recent visit to Karachi shows the resolve of our civilian and military leadership to wipe out all criminal and terrorist elements by carrying out an indiscriminate operation.
The sincere efforts of our law-enforcement agencies should not only be appreciated but all stakeholders – including political parties and people at large – should also facilitate it in their respective capacities. All political parties should support this operation in unequivocal terms while putting their personal and political priorities aside in the larger national interest. On the other hand, the public should also facilitate the operation so that peace and stability can be restored in the city.
