This assurance was given to the locals by the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Management and Development Company (KPEZDMC) during a meeting.

According to a press release, the residents of Rashakai called on the KPEZDMC CEO at his office to convey reservations to him on the employment opportunities being created in the SEZ.

In the meeting, the CEO informed the delegation that KPEZDMC would give priority to employment of locals and impart them vocational trainings.

The CEO assured the delegation that he was committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and would ensure that enterprises setting their units at the zone will play their role in development of the local area through the CSR initiatives.

The delegation was informed that Rashakai SEZ will generate thousands of jobs and bring billions of dollars of investment over the years making the region prosperous.

The meeting concluded with a positive note by the delegation, assuring full cooperation to KPEZDMC in the development of Rashakai SEZ.
