Rulers exposed before nation, says Sarwar

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf core committee member and Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that real face of the PML-N has been exposed before nation which is reflected in the tirade of rulers against national institutions.

In a statement issued Thursday, Sarwar, also the former governor of Punjab, stated that the entire nation was siding with the country institutions. He said that calling NAB chairman in parliamentary committee is negation of democracy and the rule of law. He said that future belonged to the PTI and under the leadership of Imran Khan, Pakistan will start a new era of progress, prosperity and supremacy of parliament.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf legislator Arif Abbasi Thursday submitted a resolution demanding a separate province for the people of Potohar region. The resolution submitted that current administrative situation of Punjab was highly deplorable and a sense of deprivation among people living in Northern part of Punjab was on the rise due to the rulers’ policies. He demanded that a separate province comprising the districts from Rawalpindi and Sargodha Division be formed to ensure a just distribution of resources.
