Khursheed authorised in selection of caretaker PM

ISLAMABAD: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari and other PPP leaders have fully empowered Khursheed Shah in connection with appointment of caretaker Prime Minister (PM).

According to media reports PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari had called Khursheed Shah on the issue of appointment of caretaker PM and an important consultation was made with party senior leadership on this count.

After consultation Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari gave full authority to Khursheed Shah to appoint caretaker PM. Party leadership has said whatever name is finalised by Khursheed Shah and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for caretaker PM will be acceptable.

Syed Khursheed Shah while expressing gratitude to party leadership for reposing trust on him said caretaker PM name will be finalised in the meeting with PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi within a day or two.
