Fashion designing training held
PESHAWAR: The Empowered Women Society of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) arranged a five-day training of fashion designing for the female students.
The training titled “Inspiration to Compendium” was conducted by noted designer Yousuf Bashir Qureshi, while the IMSciences and National Bank of Pakistan sponsored the training, said a press release.
The female students of IMSciences and other educational institutes including Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University attended the training.
The trainees learnt the basics of fashion designing and were told to dig out the ideas behind their inspiration. The Empowered Women Society arranges such events on regular basis to encourage the social inclusion of women in the society.
Yousuf Bashir Qureshi is the Pakistan’s well known fashion designer, photographer, poet and public speaker. He has designed dresses for world renowned personalities including Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Sheryl Crow and Alanis’ Marissette.
