‘Westerly wave affecting upper parts of country’

LAHORE: The Met officials said a westerly wave was affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist for the next few days. They predicted rain-thundershower with gusty winds was expected at Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Quetta and Zhob. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
