KARACHI: The Olympic Solidarity Technical Course for Coaches in Handball Licence-C concluded in Faisalabad on Monday.
According to Pakistan Handball Federation (PHF), there were 38 coaches from Army, WAPDA, Railways, Police, Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Navy, Balochistan, Punjab, KP, Islamabad and Pakistan Women Handball Association.
Out of them, 20 passed the course. Muhammad Sohaib from WAPDA got the first position; Mohsin Sardar from Punjab took second; while Sohaib Shafiq from Punjab stood third. Abid Qadri, vice president of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA), and International Handball Federation (IHF) expert Ali Reza Habibi distributed the certificates.
Pakistan Handball Federation (PHF) president Mohammad Shafiq thanked POA, IOC and Olympic Solidarity for allotting the course to Pakistan. He also thanked IHF for deputing Habibi from Iran.
