LAHORE: Dry weather with partly cloudy conditions was observed in the city here Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next three to four days. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds/dust-storm is expected at scattered places in KP, FATA, while at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Larkana, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, DG Khan Divisions), Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities, including Malam Jabba 57mm, Saidu Sharif 22mm, Mirkhani 20mm, Kakul 18mm, Lower Dir, Chitral 16mm, Balakot, Pattan 14mm, Kalam 12mm, Drosh 11mm, Peshawar 09mm, Dir 08mm, Parachinar 07mm, Cherat 06mm, Murree 20mm, Noorpur Thal 27mm, Mangla, Gujranwala 07mm, Chakwal 04mm, Kamra, Bhakkar, Joharabad, Faisalabad 03mm, Sialkot (A/P 03mm, City 01mm), Islamabad (Saidpur 02mm, Golrha, Bokra, ZP 01mm), Jhelum, Layyah 02mm, Rawalpindi (Shamsabad ), Mandi Bahauddin 01mm, Garhi Dupatta 28mm.
