FCK to hold matches as part of Diplomatic Peace Cups
KARACHI: Football Club Karachi (FCK) founder Hamza Farooq on Sunday said that he had decided to work on Diplomatic Peace Cups in near future under which football matches would be organised with other nations.
Under the initiative football matches would be organised between different nations, including Pakistan, to strengthen relationship among nations, Hamza said.He said this would also help take Pakistani talent in football into the international market. “Landmark financial investment opportunities for Pakistan are also to be created while taking into account Pakistan’s geo-strategic positioning which makes the country an asset for many nations to invest in,” he said.
“FCK is a unique platform which is engaged in the sport of football which connects over three billion lives in the world and therefore finds the platform of football to be very lucrative and full of opportunity in an ever globalising world,” he said.
